All goods have to be paid with the digital currency Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world. Bitcoin uses peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority: managing transactions and issuing money are carried out collectively by the network. Bitcoins can be easily exchanged to common currencies by several exchange services.

In order to send and receive Bitcoins you only need a Bitmit account or a Bitcoin client.

One of the easiest way to get Bitcoins is by selling something here on Bitmit. Alternatively you can buy some through several Bitcoin exchange services.

The exchange rates depends on the supply and demand of Bitcoin according to the exchange services. They use the average rate of the last 24h (vwap) to determine the current rate.

Please go to settings menu and complete your personal information. After you have refreshed the site please click "Get verified" and follow the instructions.

You only need an account and enough Bitcoins to pay for your order. After you have won an auction or purchased an item you will see it in . There you will find the Bitcoin address to which you have to transfer required amount. After you do this your vendor will be ready to send out your order. Please note: On orders with escrow protection you have to set the order as received after it received. Your vendor will not be paid until you do.

Because Bitcoin transactions are widely anonymous there is a need for trust-building measures like our escrow system. Bitcoins are only transferred to the vendor if you have set the order status as “received” or have given a positive rating. This way potential fraudsters have no chance to commit a successful crime. To date, this system has been very successful.

On orders with enabled escrow option you can request an automatic payment refund if the seller is inactive, does not respond (anymore) or has not shipped your items. Please go to the order page and click "Order options" -> "Cancel order and request refund".

If you have any problems with an order you can dispute it with your vendor through the message boards on the order page. If this does not resolve the issue you can contact us and we will do what we can to ensure your satisfaction, we are here to help.

All you need is a Bitmit account and of course something worthy of selling. You can list your product for auction or use the instant sale “buy now” feature. After your item is sold and paid for, you can then send the goods to your customer’s mailing address.

We do not have a long list of special resitrictions but of course you have to make sure that you observe the law in your country.
Even it might be legal in the country you are selling from we do not want to see weapons and drugs on our site. Attempts to list items you are not allowed to sell will draw consequences such as an account ban.

Our fee structure is amazingly simple. We only charge a commission of 1.90% the total price of every successful sale. Fees are automatically subtracted from your Bitmit account once payment is received. In order to cover the network side fees of Bitcoin we charge 0.001 Bitcoin for every outgoing transaction.

Customers have to send the payment to a Bitcoin address we provide. All payments will be credited to your Bitmit account. On orders with enabled escrow protection you will get the Bitcoins as soon the buyer has set the order status to “received” or once he has rated you positively.
